The Parish Council currently have a vacancy for a Councillor to join our dedicated and supportive team.

We are looking for a member of the Figheldean parish who is passionate about our beautiful village to join our team.  Our current vacancy is ‘without portfolio’ meaning that specific responsibilities can be agreed upon appointment and take into account the successful candidates skill set.

No previous experience or political preference necessary, just a love for the parish and ability to project manage whilst liaising with outside agencies.

Council meetings are held in the evening, once every two months.  Daytime availability would be an added benefit, but is not essential.

This is a voluntary role.

Further information about the Parish Council is available from our website: www.figheldean.org

If you think this is a role that would suit you and you would like to contribute to our community please email the Parish Clerk with a brief overview of the skills you would bring to our team and confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria below.  Expressions of interest required by the 12th May 2024.
